The Researcher/Copywriter is detailed, forever curious, and likes frequent changes. They enjoy researching and learning about Croatian citizenship, residence, culture, and living in Croatia. Every day with us is different and challenging. You assist with the research, writing, and creating newsletters. The amount of information you manage is vast. You must prioritize, distinguish the essential from the unimportant, bring relevant conclusions, give accurate answers, and write meaningful summaries. Your responsibilities will include: - Online research on topics related to Croatia, including bureaucracy and daily life - Calls or visits to state and other institutions to find specific information - Analysis and comparison of collected data - Collecting important news from Croatian internet portals - Following Narodne Novine, Croatian laws, and taxes - Writing articles in the fields of Croatian bureaucracy, history, culture, and beyond - Updating information in published articles - Preparing article drafts in WordPress - Writing copies for the weekly newsletter - Preparing newsletter drafts in MailChimp - Occasional help in finding stock photos

To apply for this role, you must: - Have the legal right to work - Be fluent in Croatian and English - Own a computer and have excellent computer skills - Have excellent research skills - Have excellent writing skills - Have excellent organizational skills In addition, you are: - Bachelor, preferably in the field of Information Science or Communication - Fast learner, flexible, and able to prioritize - Kind, patient, and happy to help people - Problem solver, independent, and capable of meeting deadlines - Professional and open communicator - Detailed in research and finding relevant/correct information - Comfortable making calls, writing emails, and visiting government locations in person Applications received through social media, directly by email, or any other channel will not be considered.
